Hi, so glad to meet you!

I am a Pacific Northwest artist living in the Seattle area with a focus in pencil and watercolor. My years of creating art began before I was old enough to even remember, and although I chose to forego a formal education in art to pursue a career as a full-time surgical nurse, I have continued to draw and paint on my own, and spent the years of this pandemic focusing on building an art practice and small business as an artist outside of my nursing career.

My work is inspired by my love of the outdoors, the healing power of nature, and the human journey of finding connectedness in the world. Beyond the joy of exploring the creative process, I aim to help people feel seen, recognize the beauty of the natural world, and discover meaningful connections to nature, to each other, and to themselves. I hope to reflect these values through a business model that focuses on sustainability, accessibility, and the support of environmental conservation and social justice.

I am honored that you have chosen to explore and engage, to some degree, with my creative journey, and to those who have helped me to get where I am, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

All the best, Jodi

Outside of art, I work full time as a surgical nurse and enjoy hiking, rock climbing, Latin social dancing, and hanging out with my wonderfully supportive boyfriend and two adorable kitties, Miso and Mochi.
